(Cincinnati)--Hamilton County Commissioners and the Cincinnati Bengals struck a deal Thursday afternoon that will help pave the way for expansion at The Banks. The deal could lead to a new GE facility and an apartment building.
The Bengals have agreed to waive a height restriction for buildings near Paul Brown Stadium in exchange for some upgrades. The team has also agreed to pay for some of a new scoreboard that they are owed by Hamilton County.
The deal could be just the thing to lure GE to the river. Hamilton County Commissioners had a Friday deadline to submit a proposal to GE.
