(Kentucky)-- Republican Senator Mitch McConnell defeated four challengers in Tuesday's primary.  He received about 60% of the vote. The Tea Party challenger, Matt Bevin, came in second place with 36%.

In the Democrat primary,  Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes defeated three challengers.   She received 77% of the vote. 

McConnell and Lundergan Grimes will now meet in the November election for the senate seat now held by McConnell.
