(Middletown)--Police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly kidnaped a woman from an ATM in Middletown Saturday.

The 56 year-old woman was withdrawing money from an ATM at the U.S. Bank on Roosevelt Boulevard near South Breiel about 2:30 on Saturday afternoon, when a man armed with a handgun approached her and demanded money.

The suspect then made the woman get into her car and forced her to drive to Jackson Lane, were he got out and ran away with the money.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5'10". He was wearing a blue checkered flannel shirt, a red hoodie and hat, and a gray scarf. Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
