(Cincinnati) -- One person is on the loose after, after a police chase Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the pursuit started about noon on Grand Avenue in East Price Hill and ended near Central Parkway and 5th Street.  District Three Captain Dan Gerard says it started as part of a CIRV round-up in East Price Hill.

The driver was taken into custody at the scene for felony warrants out of Kentucky for drug trafficking.  But a passenger fled the scene on foot.  Gerard says the passenger dropped a "substantial quantity" of heroin.  He says the passenger was the one officers were initially trying to arrest.

Police say he is wanted on several felony warrants.
