(Cincinnati) -- Organizers of the 2014 Taste of Cincinnati expect a bigger festival this year.  Patrick Sheeran with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber says in part because the St. Louis Cardinals are playing the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park, they expect more than 550,000 people across the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend.

Sheeran says they have 38 restaurants scheduled to be set up along 5th Street, nine food trucks, and 18 restaurants at the P&G Gardens.  And he says they will all be open starting at 11am, each day, instead of noon.

Last week, they announced the winners of the Best of the Taste of Cincinnati.  Sheeran says announcing the winners beforehand is a feature unique to food festivals.  He says it gives attendees the opportunity to know what they want to try before going.
