Teen Admits to Hit/Skip

( Franklin, Ohio ) - Police say a suspect has now come forward after an elderly man was struck by a car near Franklin High School on Tuesday evening.

72-Year-Old Gerald Retherford was crossing 4th Street when he was hit by a car that kept going. The vehicle was described at the time as a white GM, possibly a Grand Prix. Retherford was taken to the hospital.

On Wednesday, a 17-year-old from Carlisle and his parents showed up at the Franklin Police Department and admitted to being the driver. No word yet if that teen will face any charges.
