(Cincinnati)--Wounded veterans are getting a chance to take the field as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team makes a stop in Cincinnati.
The team, that is comprised of veterans and active-duty service members who have lost a limb in combat, use the latest prosthetic technology to play the game at a high level.
This weekend is the 15th annual USSSA Major NIT Tournament at the Mid-America Ballyard. They will be taking on the Cincinnati All-Stars in a game that starts at 7 pm. There will be a second game Friday night at 8 pm. Admission is $5 both nights.
