• 1 stick butter, softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

     

  • 1 shallot or small onion, minced
  • 1/2 pound cooked shrimp

     

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

     

 

Blend all of the ingredients in the food processor until smooth.

 

Cover and chill for 8 hours.

 

Set out to soften a bit at room temperature.  Serve with crackers for spreading.
