• 1 whole or half brisket

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1//2 cup Worcestershire

  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard  (Dijon or yellow)

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

  • 1/2 cup balsamic

  • 2 large cloves garlic, crushed

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

 

Put the brisket in a heavy pot with tight fitting lid (or in roasting pan and cover tightly with  heavy-duty foil)

Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the meat.

Roast in a preheated 275 º F. oven for 5 to 6 hours or until the brisket is very tender.
