- 1 whole or half brisket
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1//2 cup Worcestershire
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard (Dijon or yellow)
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup balsamic
- 2 large cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
Put the brisket in a heavy pot with tight fitting lid (or in roasting pan and cover tightly with heavy-duty foil)
Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the meat.
Roast in a preheated 275 º F. oven for 5 to 6 hours or until the brisket is very tender.
