Today on the show, Glenn continued this week’s chalkboard series on ‘antifa.’ While most American’s would probably consider themselves to be against fascism, they don’t share many (or perhaps any) other ideologies with the antifa movement.

“Being against fascism isn’t the same as being part of antifa … members of antifa are communists and anarchists,” said Glenn, adding, “Now remember, these are not the labels that I have given them. And I urge you, please do your own homework. Antifa is openly proud to be communist, anarchist, and anti-capitalist.”

Mark Bray, a professor at Dartmouth and the author of “Antifa: The Antifascist Handbook,” wrote of antifa members, “It’s important to remember that these are self-described revolutionaries. They’re anarchists and communists who are way outside the traditional conservative-liberal spectrum. They’re not interested in and don’t feel constrained by conventional norms.”
