Body Of Three-Year-Old Girl Kidnapped From Birthday Party Found In Dumpster

The remains of a three-year-old girl who was abducted from a birthday party ten days ago were found by authorities in Alabama in a dumpster. Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney was taken while playing outside and other kids told the police they saw a couple driving around the neighborhood trying to lure children into their SUV with candy.

The day after Kamille went missing, authorities arrested Patrick Stallworth, 39, in connection with the young girl's disappearance. Authorities found images of child pornography on his phone and he was booked on seven counts of possession child porn.

He was released on a $500,000 bond but was taken into custody again after authorities discovered the body of Kamille. His girlfriend, 29-year-old Derick Irisha Brown, was also arrested. Both are facing capital murder and kidnapping charges

"This moment for our city right now is very hard. It is the hardest for April Thomas, Kamille's mother, Dominic McKinney, Kamille's father, who have received this information, and I know without a doubt are in tears right now," said Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin. "They're not in tears alone, they're not crying alone, they're not mourning alone. Tonight our entire city is mourning."
