WATCH: Postal Worker Caught Throwing, Kicking Packages

A Maryland man is demanding answers after a postal worker was recorded throwing and kicking packages. A video captured by Paul Albensi's neighbor Ring camera shows the unidentified woman walking up to his home and tossing a box on the ground. She then kicks the package towards his door before walking away.

"In the video, you see the driver come about halfway up my little sidewalk, throw the package, the bat, onto the lower step of the stoop, and then had another package in her hand and came down around down to my neighbor's side of the driveway and throw the package and give it a little kick to get it closer to the door," Albensi told WJLA.

"I was a little shocked, a little disappointed," he added. "You hope that the Postal Service takes better care of your packages, but sometimes people have a bad day and throw your stuff around."

Albensi said that the woman in the video is not the normal mail carrier for his Annapolis neighborhood. The U.S. Postal Service did not identify the worker but said it was investigating the matter.

"The Postal Service condemns, in the strongest possible sense, behavior that jeopardizes the security and sanctity of the U.S. Mail or threatens to tarnish the reputation and high level of trust that the vast majority of our employees work so hard to uphold," a USPS spokesperson said in a statement.

Luckily, Albensi said that the contents of the package were not damaged.
