CANDIDATES FORUM - Primary elections are just a few weeks away and that is when we have a real choice of candidates, not just a "political party" choice as so often is the case in the November general elections. Are you informed about all the candidates running for the same office? Meeting each candidate can confirm or change your mind about which candidate you will vote for.
MVCI will be featuring three candidates at our April meeting: Melissa Ackisson, Mike Gibbons and John Mitchell. Two of these candidates (Ackisson and Gibbons) are running (as is Jim Renacci) to be the GOP candidate who will go on to challenge Sherrod Brown for his Senate seat in the November 2018 general election. Mr. Jon Mitchell is challenging incumbent GOP Representative Mike Turner in this May Primary election.
