- Sept 1 - USO's Tribute Cincinnati is an event that is supporting the USS Cincinnati Commissioning Foundation and other veterans organizations. We will be at the event with our float and would love to talk to anyone about the upcoming commissioning.
- Sept 4 - The city of Gulfport has a small delegation, including their mayor, coming to visit Cincinnati. The Gulfport mayor will meet with city leadership, visit a local museum, and be an Honorary Team Captain on the field of the Cincinnati Reds game against the Phillies. Lots of great visuals here and I'm sure I could work an interview with the Mayor while he is here.
- Oct 5 - The commissioning is taking place in Gulfport, Mississippi at 10am. People wanting to attend in person must have a ticket in hand and have their names on the list. The ability to request a ticket ends on September 8th. Cincinnatians will be able to watch the commissioning from Fountain Square, Cincinnati Museum Center, or their own homes. More information will be sent out on these events as they firm up.
