Maysville Transparent Pie

  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 unbaked 9”  pie shell


Beat together the butter, sugar and cream.  Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in the flour and vanilla.

Pour into pastry shell and bake in a 375 º F. oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and set.
