Raisin Pie

  • 2 1/2 cups (15 oz box) dark raisins
  • Enough hot water to cover.
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • Boil for 1 minute.  Drain well. 
  • Distribute in bottom of crust.
  • Make the filling:
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 stick butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Mix well and pour into pie crust.

Bake in a 325 º F. oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until set.

Cover for the first 20 minutes…with foil…then uncover and finish baking.
