Breaded Fish Fillets

  • 2 pounds mild fish fillets (such as farm raised catfish)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar


Pat fish dry.  Place in buttered baking dish.

Mix together all ingredients, except cheese, and spoon over top of fish.  

Bake, uncovered in a 425 º F. oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

Remove and sprinkle with cheese.  Return to oven for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
