- 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cups chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Make the sauce by sautéing the onion and garlic in the oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often. Cool. Set aside 1/2 of it to warm for passing at the table.
