Fruit Cocktail Cake

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 4 tbs1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 4 tablespoons soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 15 to 17oz. can fruit cocktail with liquid

Stir together all ingredients just until well mixed.Pour into a greased and floured 8” square pan.Sprinkle 1/4 brown sugar on top.Bake for 1 hour in a 350 º F. oven.
