Baked Pineapple Custard

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 5 slices firm white bread, cubed
  • Pinch salt


Mix together the butter and sugar.  Beat in the eggs.Stir in the pineapple and bread cubes with salt.Put into a 1 1/2 quart buttered casserole and bake in a 350 º F. oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with ham.
