- 1 pound bacon, diced
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 stick butter, softened
- 3/4 cup each: brown sugar and granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Cook the bacon until crisp.
Drain and set aside
Whisk together the flour, soda and salt.In the mixer cream the butter with the sugars and vanilla
.Beat in the eggs.
Mix in the dry mixture
Stir in the crisp bacon and then the chocolate chips.
Spoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 375 º F. oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen.
