- 1 package (4 ounces) sweet German chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup light or dark Karo
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/4 cup pecan halves
- 1 unbaked 9" pie shell
Melt chocolate and butter. Stir in the sugar, Karo, eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Add the nuts and pour into pastry shell. Bake in 350 °F. oven for 50 minutes.
