INGREDIENTS
Olive oil
1 nice onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped - a good tablespoon or so
1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 can beef broth
1 can tomato sauce, 15 oz
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup water
Worcestershire sauce
Seasoned salt to taste
2 teaspoons or so dried Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon paprika
Pepper to taste
2 cups macaroni uncooked
Sharp cheddar cheese - a good cup or more to taste plus extra for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Make a film of olive oil in bottom of large pot over medium-high heat.
Add onion and cook until slightly softened.
Add garlic and cook 1 more minute.
Add beef, smooshing it down and cook until no pink remains
Add broth, tomato sauce, tomatoes, water, Worcestershire, seasoned salt, Italian seasoning, paprika and pepper. Return to a simmer.
Add macaroni and cook on medium low and cook for about 12 minutes, until the macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add cheese. Stir until it is completely melted. Serve and pass extra cheese.
