Rita's Appetizer for Christmas Guests

BOURSIN CHEESE, PISTACHIO AND HOT HONEY APPETIZER

So easy there’s no recipe except for the hot honey! 

Just heat to a simmer 1 cup honey with 2 teaspoons or so hot red pepper flakes.

Remove from heat, stir in 1 tablespoon cider vinegar. Cool and strain. 

Now for the appetizer:

Smear a disk of garlic & herb Boursin cheese on a small platter. 

Sprinkle about 1/2 cup chopped pistachios on top, then drizzle with “hot” honey. 

Serve with crackers or toasted baguette.
