The Young Americans for Freedom at the University of Cincinnati are pleased to be hosting guest, Star Parker, at the Richard E. Lindner Center at 7:00pm on Thursday, February 15th. Ms. Parker is the President of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE). She will be speaking on the issue of race and its connection to abortion and welfare dependence, both subjects to which she has first-hand knowledge, having been welfare dependent and having endured four abortions. After her conversion to Christianity, Ms. Parker left her old life behind. She has since become a conservative social activist, advocating for pro-life policies and solutions to help America’s poor escape government dependency. Star Parker’s hour-long speech, titled “Race’s Connection to Abortion and Welfare: A Conservative Take,” will be followed by a 30 minute question and answer session in which Ms. Parker will take questions from the audience. Don’t miss your chance to hear one of today’s most influential voices on social issues that effect us all. The event is Free and Open to the Public.
