FESTIVAL HOURSFriday, September 21, 2018 | 5 p.m.- 11 p.m.Saturday, September 22, 2018 | 11 a.m.- 11 p.m.Sunday, September 23, 2018 | 11 a.m.- 9 p.m.LOCATIONOktoberfest Zinzinnati takes places on Second and Third Streets, between Walnut and Elm Streets, downtown.STREET CLOSURES & TRAFFIC CHANGESThe following local streets will be closed to through traffic September 21, 9 a.m. – September 24, 4 a.m.

  • Second and Third Streets from Elm to Walnut Streets
  • Vine Street from Third Street to the Central Riverfront Garage entrance, midblock between Second and Freedom Way
  • Race Street from Third Street to the Central Riverfront Garage entrance, midblock between Second and Freedom Wa
  • In addition, the following interstate ramps will be closed: 
  • Second Street ramp from I-75 north and south 
  • Second Street ramp from Clay Wade Bailey Bridge, north south

The following streets will be temporarily converted to two-way from one-way to allow access to the noted parking garages:

  • Street from Fourth to Third for access to Olympic Auto Park at 309 Vine Street and Ogden Alley
  • Race Street from Fourth to Third for access to SP Garage at 321 Race Street
  • Elm Street from Fourth to Mehring Way for access to Central Riverfront Garage 

FROM I-75 SOUTH Take Fifth Street exit (on left)FROM I-71 SOUTHTake Reading/Gilbert exit. Stay in right lane for Reading Road exit. Travel south on Reading Road to Central Parkway. FROM I-75/I-71 NORTHTake Fifth Street exit after taking Brent Spence Bridge into OhioFROM I-471 NORTHTake westbound US 50 exit after crossing Daniel Carter Beard (Big Mac) Bridge. Take Street exit. Make a right turn on Main Street. OR Follow I-471 north to I-71 north. Merge immediately to left lane. Take Exit 2 Reading/Eden Park (exit is immediately on left). On exit ramp veer right to Eden Park Drive. At signal turn left onto Eden Park Drive. Travel west on Eden Park Drive to signal, southbound Reading Road (less than 1/10 mile). Turn left onto southbound Reading Road. Travel south on Reading Road to Central Parkway. FROM WESTBOUND US 50Travel on US 50 until it becomes Fourth Street.

Sam Adams founder Jim Koch will be tapping the keg!World's Largest Chicken Dance >>Sunday, September 23, 201812:00pm, Sam Adams Main Stage at 2nd & ElmOne of the favorite events at Oktoberfest is the World's Largest Chicken dance. One of the ways this celebration distinguishes itself from the others is the chicken dance - thousands of dancers have congregated every year since 1994 when Zinzinnatiansset the record for the largest Chicken Dance in the world. The chicken dance will be led by Grand Marshal Thane Maynard, Director of the Cincinnati Zoo.
