Honor Flight - May 21st

9 Korean,66 Vietnam and 6 Cold War and 6 from other conflicts are flying on thisall-expense paid trip to their memorials, for the day trip they will never forget . The Korean veterans have never been honored before and the Korean War was often called the “Forgotten War “ – we do not want to forget the service of the brave soldiers who served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. All veterans will be escorted by guardians that are either family members or patriotic Americans who want to help make their day spectacular. We are flying Army, Navy, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard and Marine veterans.

The morning ceremonies will begin @ 5:45am ( The Terminal – next to TSA departure area ) the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department Bagpipers filling the CVG terminal with their Patriotic sounds, along with the TSA Color Guard, and flag ceremony --They will lead the 87 veterans to their charter flight. This will be the beginning of a day they will never forget.

Welcome Home Rally begins @ 9:00 pm ( new earlier time) – lower level THE Terminal.
