Honor Flights Need Guardians

Every veteran that goes on an Honor Flight is assigned a guardian! Some are family members but many need appointed guardians for the one-day trip.We are seeking guardians at this time for our fall flights. Guardians often tell us that this is a trip that changes their life. This is a once in a lifetime chance to walk with heroes and to experience history first hand, from the veterans that lived it.Guardians must be between the ages of 18 to 64.No spouses, girlfriends/boyfriends of veterans are eligible. This is a national network directive.

We have 2 charter flights remaining this year, leaving from CVG – September 24 and October 29. And we will also have openings for our 2020 flights. It is easy to apply. Just go to the website www.honorflighttristate.org and go to the “Applications” tab to complete the application on line or printable form which you will mail direct to the Flight scheduler.Feel free to call the hotline, 513-277-9626, with questions or to have us send you an application.

All veterans travel FREE, but guardians are expected pay the guardian fee of $600 and to attend a briefing meeting, the week before the flight. This fee includes everything, charter flight, bus tour, meals, t-shirts and the experience of a lifetime!

Please help us find guardians NOW, by distributing this information. It is never too late to say THANK YOU!Help us give these deserving veterans the trip of a lifetime, by being a guardian. They need guardians to participate in our program – can you help?
