TASTING NOTES
While most bourbon is made from a mash of corn, rye and barley, the Van Winkle recipe calls for a sweeter mix of corn, wheat and barley malt. The wheat allows for more graceful aging. All Pappy Van Winkle bourbon is aged in new, charred oak barrels.

FOURTH PRIZE: FOUR ROSES SUPER PREMIUM JAPANESE RELEASE BOURBON WHISKEY
This bourbon can only be found in Japan, a fact that is at first confusing until you remember that in 2002, Kirin Brewery Company purchased Four Roses. The bourbon is distilled and aged at the Four Roses distillery in Kentucky before it is shipped to Japan to be bottled. The bottle features the classic Four Roses flower symbol in metal.
FIFTH PRIZE: WILLETT FAMILY ESTATE 3 YEAR RYE WHISKEY
Willett Distillery is located in Bardstown, Kentucky. The Willett Family Estate 3 Year Rye Whiskey is made in small batches, is 110 proof, and comes with a price tag of around $55. The whiskey is a blend of two mash bills, the 1st being 74% rye, 11% corn, and 15% malted barley, and the other being 51% rye, 34% corn, and 15% malted barley. These Willett releases have become more sought after over the last couple of years as the distillery has been releasing 4, 7, and 10-year-old versions of the offering as well.

Raffle sales end on May 2nd 11:59 pm EDT. Drawing will take place and 5 winners announced May 3rd, 2023. Winners will also be contacted no later than May 4th, 2023 via email or phone. Raffle winners are responsible for arranging pickup at The Party Source at 95 Riviera Drive, Bellevue, KY 41073 within 1 week of award announcement. Winnings not collected within 60 days shall be forfeited. Any dispute or issues with prizes shall be limited to a refund of the winner's investment in the raffle and the decision of The Cure Starts Now shall be final.
