Silent Watch 2022
Every day our country loses an average of 17 veterans to suicide. The Butler County Veterans Services Commission is asking residents and veterans for volunteers to participate in a 20 minute “Silent Watch” next to a flag draped casket, Wednesday September 21st from 7a to midnight at the Butler County Government Services Center to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention with a closing ceremony at midnight. September will be our silent watch event. We are running it the same as last year. 17 hour event with a closing ceremony at 12:05 a.m.
