Harrison Job Fair March 9th

Harrison Job Fair Expecting 40 Employers

HARRISON, Ohio--March 7, 2023--At least 40 employers are expected for the Harrison Job Fair, March 9, 2023. The event is open to the public 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Harrison High School Activity Center, 9999 West Road, Harrison, Ohio.

 

Southwest Local School District leaders have teamed up with Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce to coordinate the event, which will offer free, on-site childcare and transportation for jobseekers in the 45030 zip code.

 

Jobseekers are encouraged to register in advance to receive updates about the job fair and the services offered. Opportunities that will be presented at the job fair include part-time, full-time and seasonal work across many industries.

Prospective employers registered to attend include: DWA Recreation, JTM Food Group, Rodem Inc., Siemer Milling, Mercy Health, Proman Staffing, Hubert Company, PolyCraft Products, Express Pros, Cincinnati Inc., Waffle House, Atlas Dowel, Great Parks of Hamilton Co., Harrison Building & Loan, AAA Appliance Repair, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Harrison Trail Health Campus, Cincinnati State College, Cincinnati Asphalt, Backbone Power Systems, UC Health, Uni-Ref, Inc., Prolink, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Envision Ohio, Your CBD Store, Cronin Automobiles, Heart 4 Homes 513 Realty. 

Southwest Local comprises six schools serving more than 4,500 students in preschool through grade 12. The school district perpetuates the state department of education’s goal to ensure every single student is enrolled, enlisted or employed when they graduate. School leaders are introducing new career pathways, now up to 10, including business, engineering, advanced manufacturing, entrepreneurship and more.

Greater Harrison Chamber was established in 2013 to promote growth and prosperity in one of the fastest growing corners of Hamilton County. Powered by volunteers, the Chamber provides networking, learning and cost-saving opportunities to businesses and organizations in Harrison and the surrounding communities.
