AFP-OH Calls Out Sherrod Brown’s Support of Bidenomics’ Runaway Spending in New Accountability Ads

Turns Up Heat on Sherrod Brown Who Voted for Higher Prices and More Inflation

Columbus, OH – Americans for Prosperity-Ohio (AFP-OH) has launched a new round of accountability ads calling out Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), among other politicians, who voted to greenlight Biden’s runaway spending and unleash the higher prices and economic pain facing Americans.

WATCH: “Runaway Train”

In the last four years, Biden’s reckless spending agenda has driven the national debt past $34 trillion – more than $258,000 of debt per household – and Americans’ purchasing power has declined as families have seen the prices of goods and services rise much faster than their income. Prices are now 17.9% higher and the average household is paying over $11,400 more each year just to maintain the same quality of life as when Biden took office.

Donovan O’Neil, AFP-OH State Director, said:

“While Sherrod Brown thinks this economy is the American Dream, Ohioans struggling to pay for gas and groceries know it’s a nightmare. Brown should have to explain to his constituents why he voted to raise prices and greenlight Biden’s most reckless economic policies. Runaway government spending unleashed the highest levels of inflation in four decades and squeezed family budgets to the breaking point. Now hardworking Americans are paying more but getting less.

“As we learn from Biden’s costly economic mistakes, it’s time to demand better from our elected leaders, end the big government spending binge that has plagued our communities, and once again prioritize the needs of hardworking Ohioans. We are committed to holding our leaders accountable, stopping runaway government spending, and showing a better path forward for the Buckeye state.”

The ads will run on digital and connected TV in Ohio for Sen Sherrod Brown (D-OH) as well as the districts for Reps. Emilia Sykes (OH-13)Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), and Greg Landsman (OH-01).
