An Update on the Presidential Campaign from a Journalist’s Perspective

President Trump once again has dominated the 2024 presidential race, despite his being the target of multiple indictments and lawsuits, relentless mainstream media attacks, and the many millions in PAC money spent by his rivals.

Meanwhile, President Biden faces numerous challenges in his bid for a second term: escalating debt, inflation, and interest rates; concern that the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas wars are broadening into larger conflicts; an open border policy that finally has begun to impact the lives of voters in Democrat cities around the country; and, more recently, a long-supportive mainstream media that has begun to question his mental fitness for office.

Epoch Times reporter Janice Hisle returns to EmpowerU to give us a fascinating glimpse into her job covering the Trump presidential campaign during what is shaping up to be an historic election. We’ll learn what it’s like in this unprecedented, dynamic environment to travel from state to state to report on primaries, caucuses and Trump campaign events, how these momentous factors have been impacting the primaries, and what she’s hearing from voters regarding their views of the candidates.

Listen in tonight as EmpowerU Podcast Host Michael Mercier interviews Janice Hisle from The Epoch Times.
