Many people have said that Digital & Cryptocurrency means the end of piggy banks for children. What are the facts? Congressman Warren Davidson–Ohio District 8– is a member of the important House Financial Services Committee. He will explain the threat to liberty posed by programmable money including:
-Review of China’s social credit score system.
-Explanation of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and the Federal Reserve’s efforts to develop it.
-Examples of how CBDC could be used to control Americans.
-Efforts to prevent the development and implementation of programmable money in the U.S. House Financial Services Committee and in state legislatures.
-Explanation of permissionless, peer-to-peer cryptocurrencies, and the need for regulatory clarity.

Speaker Bio:
Warren Davidson was born and raised in Sidney, Ohio. He enlisted in the Army after high school and later earned an appointment to West Point. He served in the Old Guard, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and the 101st Airborne Division. After returning to civilian life, he helped grow his father’s small company with 20 employees to multiple companies with over 200 employees. Warren has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 27 years, and they have 2 adult children.
In 2016, Warren won a special election to fill the remainder of the term of outgoing US Representative John Boehner. He was re-elected in 2020 to his 3rd full term in Congress and serves on the House Financial Services Committee. He also serves on the United States Military Academy Board of Visitors, the House Warrior Caucus and House Army Caucus.
