DAV Patriot Boot Camp Now Accepting Applicants

WHAT: Military and veteran entrepreneurs are on a mission to help address long-standing challenges that impact the military/veteran community and beyond. Through DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Patriot Boot Camp, these veteran-founded businesses are getting priceless support at no cost to help their companies succeed.
DAV Patriot Boot Camp connects transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses with world-class mentorship, invaluable resources, and a supportive community to scale and grow their businesses. Interested entrepreneurs can now apply for the next DAV Patriot Boot Camp, being held February 5-7, in the Cincinnati area. Applications can be found at patriotbootcamp.org.
The three-day program includes a series of seminars hosted by business leaders who will cover topics such as: funding and capitalizing a business; avoiding common legal startup mistakes; deploying marketing and sales strategies; and pitching. The event will culminate in a live Patriots Pitch competition among selected entrepreneurs. Three chosen finalists will later compete to win thousands in non-dilutive capital.
WHO: Marine and Air Force veteran and DAV Chief Communications & Outreach Officer Dan Clare can talk about the entrepreneur program and its benefits, discuss how interested and eligible entrepreneurs, and interested business leaders can get involved, as well as share success stories of alumni who have completed the program.
