H.E.A.R.T. 4 Seniors Foundation - Elderly Care Crisis

H.E.A.R.T. 4 Seniors Foundation Launches National Campaign to Address Elderly Care Crisis
Cincinnati, OH — The H.E.A.R.T. 4 Seniors Foundation, a beacon of hope for the elderly and their families, announces the launch of its groundbreaking campaign to raise awareness and restore safety, dignity, and quality of life for seniors in nursing homes and long-term care facilities, who are too often neglected in today’s healthcare system throughout the United States. With a mission rooted in dignity, respect, and innovation the foundation is taking bold steps to ensure seniors receive the quality care they deserve and the healthcare professionals that are at the bedside are rewarded for immediate response quality outcomes.
Every day, millions of seniors face challenges such as neglect, inadequate incontinence care, skin breakdown, dehydration, and ignored call lights - these are the root causes of most of the suffering in nursing homes and long-term care facilities.  An estimated 70% of seniors over age 65 will require long-term care services at some point in their lives, and the demand for skilled care continues to rise. H.E.A.R.T. 4 Seniors Foundation is leading the charge to confront these issues head-on by funding research and development of advanced alert response technology, robust community education programs, and passionate advocacy around healthcare professionals taking care of these seniors at the bedside.
"Our seniors have given so much to society, and we have failed them. Neglect runs rampant. How is that right? Why should someone who we love have to sit in their urine or feces for over 18 hours or more? Why should they have skin breakdown to the bone and have it ignored? " says Patty Scott, of H.E.A.R.T. 4 Seniors Foundation. "Through our efforts, we are going to fix these problems; we're setting a standard for what senior care should look like in this country, and we will end human suffering.”
Technology Meets Compassion
H.E.A.R.T. 4 Seniors Foundation is at the forefront of funding alert response technology to elevate patient care at nursing homes. By providing real-time health monitoring tools, this innovative, data-driven approach empowers caregivers to proactively address patient needs, improving outcomes and quality of life.
"These insights aren’t just numbers,” explains Roger King, founder of H.E.A.R.T. 4 Seniors Foundation, “they represent tangible improvements – like eliminating UTI’s, preventing skin breakdown, and avoiding dehydration. Each insight restores dignity, transforms care, and creates opportunities to address small issues before they become crises. Technology is enabling us to deliver compassionate, precise care for our seniors.”
A Vision for Change
With an estimated 36 million falls among older adults reported annually in the U.S., and a growing number of seniors with incontinence and dehydration requiring daily assistance, H.E.A.R.T. 4 Seniors is committed to fostering a world where every senior feels seen, valued, and cared for.
"This isn't just about quality care—it's about giving seniors their dignity back," King continues. "Through partnerships with nursing homes, public outreach, and relentless dedication to developing new alert response screening technology, we are creating a future where no senior is neglected, ignored, or left to die alone.”
