RITA'S BURGER RECIPE
For every 1 pound ground chuck, mix in:
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon each: garlic powder and onion powder
Black pepper to taste (start with about 1/4 teaspoon)
Use a light hand when you mix and patty out the burgers. I poke a hole in the center of each burger and that helps cook them evenly on the grill.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. ground chuck (or use lean ground beef for a leaner burger, or a mixture of the two)
2 tsp. seasoning salt.
1 tsp. garlic powder.
1 tsp. onion powder.
1/2 tsp. black pepper.
SPINACH SALAD WITH STRAWBERRIES
Whisk together
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons each sour cream, sugar, honey and orange juice concentrate, thawed.
Stir in 3 tablespoons or so red wine vinegar.
Drizzle over a spinach salad topped with red onions, sliced strawberries or other berries, and almonds.
