Rita's Easy Peach Cobbler


1 stick butter

1 cup milk

1 cup sugar

1 cup all purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon cicnnamon

2 cans peaches in syrup, 15 oz. each or 2 quarts home canned peaches in syrup

Spray 4 or 6 quart crockpot. Melt butter and pour into bottom. Whisk together milk, sugar, flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Pour that on top of the butter. Spoon peaches and syrup on top but don’t mix.

Cook on high for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until top of cobbler is set.

I like to put a paper towel under the lid while it’s cooking to catch any condensation that forms.
