Rita is grilling burgers for Memorial Day

I can hardly believe Memorial Day is right around the corner. Here’s a fool-proof grilled burger recipe, with a secret ingredient!

MY FAVORITE GRILLED BURGERS

2 pounds ground beef chuck

2 teaspoons seasoning salt (like Lawry’s)

2 tablespoons A-1 sauce

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/4 cup water

Mix everything together using a light hand so that burgers stay tender when grilled. Adding water keeps the burgers moist.  Make patties 1/2” thick and 1/4” larger in diameter than the buns. Grill burgers over medium high heat until cooked to your liking. I like to top them with cheese, mayo, tomato, onion and my favorite greens: arugula!
