I decided to put some basil into our favorite stuffed mushroom recipe. I bet you can’t eat just one!
SAUSAGE & HERB STUFFED MUSHROOMS
1/2 pound breakfast sausage roll
3/4 cup Italian blend or Mozzarella cheese
Fresh chopped basil, to taste
Mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
Preheat oven to 350.
Place mushrooms, stem side up, on sprayed cookie sheet. If necessary, cut off small portion of the bottom to make them sit flat. Stuff and bake about 20-30 minutes or until done.
