Bunny Bucher’s Red Beet Cake



1 ¾   cups Flour

1 ½   teaspoons Baking soda

½      teaspoon salt

1       teaspoon vanilla

1 ½   cup sugar

3       large eggs

1       cup oil

1       can (15 ounce) Red Beets or 2 cups of fresh cooked red beets

6-8   tablespoons Hershey Cocoa Powder

In a large bowl combine flour, oil and vanilla.  Beat with blender adding red beets and 3 eggs.  Puree until smooth. 

Add sugar and salt to mixture and mix. 

Add Hershey's Cocoa Powder and mix until well blended.

Pour into sprayed 13x9 sprayed cake pan and bake (350 degrees / 30-35 minutes).

Use a cream cheese frosting or whatever you prefer.
