Nice holiday dip for next week! From Rita



1 package (14 ounces) caramels

20 large marshmallows

1 stick butter (1/2 cup), melted

1/3 cup whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

Apple slices, pear slices or a combo


Place caramels in a microwave-safe bowl.

Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1 minute. Add marshmallows; microwave for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted, stirring occasionally. Be careful. Don’t overcook.

Remove from microwave, whisk in butter and cream until combined. Stir in vanilla.

Serve with fruit slices. Refrigerate leftovers.


Can be made ahead. Microwave or cook on top of the stove on low heat until warm.
