BIG BOY PIZZA
Like a Frisch’s big boy burger, but in a pizza!
Ingredients
1 whole 12" round pre-cooked pizza crust (like Boboli) brushed with olive oil
1 jar Frisch's tartar sauce
1 pound cooked ground beef, drained
Dill pickle chips, enough to cover pizza, or to taste
1 heaping cup cheddar cheese
Shredded iceberg lettuce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450. Place pre-cooked pizza crust onto a pizza. Coat crust evenly with tartar sauce, leaving about a bit of a border. Add beef and pickles evenly on top. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake about 6-8 minutes, then remove it from oven, add lettuce, and bake for another couple minutes or until cheese is melted & edge turn golden brown.
Here's another one for the big game on Sunday; it's from my friend Ginny Schirmer, in Batesville. She's made it several times for our get togethers, and we gobble it up:
Pepperoni bread
1 loaf frozen bread dough (thawed) Parmesan Cheese (GRATED)
1 5oz of pepperoni (DICED) Oregano (DRIED) Italian Seasoning
1 6oz of provolone cheese (SHREDDED) Butter
Divide dough into 2. Roll into a rectangle. Spread with a little butter. Layer: pepperoni, provolone cheese, parmesan, oregano and Italian seasoning. Roll into a log. Put on a baking sheet that has been spread with a little oil. Brush top with a little oil and top with Italian seasoning or parmesan. Bake a 350* for 25 mins. Enjoy!
