it’s all about peppermint and white chocolate this week. Fun gifts to make or treat yourself!

WHITE CHOCOLATE COVERED OREOS WITH CANDY CANE SPRINKLES

Ingredients

1 package Oreo cookies

1 bag white chocolate chips or white chocolate bark

Peppermint candy, crushed into sprinkles

Instructions

Melt white chocolate very carefully over low heat.Use a double boiler or a nonstick pan.

As soon as it melts but still has a few lumps of unmelted chocolate, remove it from the heat and stir to smooth.

Dip each Oreo into the white chocolate, then put on cooling rack.

Immediately sprinkle with crushed peppermint.

Let dry and enjoy!

WHITE CHOCOLATE COVERED PEPPERMINT STICKS WITH NONPAREILS

Ingredients

Peppermint sticks

1 bag white chocolate chips or white chocolate bark

White or colored nonpareils

Instructions

Melt white chocolate very carefully over low heat.Use a double boiler or a nonstick pan.

As soon as it melts but still has a few lumps of unmelted chocolate, remove it from the heat and stir to smooth.

Dip peppermint sticks, one at a time, into melted chocolate. Transfer to a baking pan lined with parchment paper or sprayed aluminum foil.

Allow chocolate to set slightly, a few minutes. Not too long though or the nonpareils won’t stick.

Roll chocolate end of peppermint sticks in nonpareils.

Return to pan and let stand at room temperature until chocolate hardens.
