Here’s a budget friendly, but oh so lovely, chocolate chip poundcake. Valentine’s Day is coming up and I wanted to share this with you in enough time to get ingredients.
Easy enough for the kids to help!
CHOCOLATE CHIP POUNDCAKE
1 box yellow cake mix, 15.25 oz size
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 small box vanilla instant pudding
1 cup regular, not low fat, sour cream
1/2 bag mini chocolate chips (a good cup or so)
Preheat oven to 350.
With mixer on medium speed, beat cake mix, pudding, oil, eggs and sour cream until very well mixed. Stir in chips. Pour into well sprayed Bundt or angel food cake pan. Bake 40-45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes then remove from pan. After cake cools completely, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
